Kvelertak release new album ‘Nattesdferd’ today

Norwegian metal sextet Kvelertak release their third album, Nattesferd, today on Roadrunner Records.

Frontman Erlend Hjelvik, talking to Metal Hammer, describes this album, the first one recorded in their native country of Norway, as their best one yet. He adds that it is “An exquisite smorgasbord of riffs infused with everything between the best of classic rock and heavy metal. I’m certain it will blow the minds of both old and new fans”.

“It’s a release,” Erlend leaves off. “I hope the audience feels the same way we do when we’re playing a live show. I’d like whatever shit you’re thinking about to disappear from your mind when you listen to us. That’s why we do this.”

The band head out on tour in Europe and the UK this summer. Their shows include festival performances at Hellfest, France, Hurricane and Southside, Germany in June and Reading and Leeds  in the UK at the end of August. See all tour dates here.
