Kasabian and Jamie T win NME Awards 2015

The NME Magazine Awards 2015 took place last night at London’s o2 Brixton Academy, with ITB artists picking up three awards apiece.

Kasabian were awarded:

  • Best British Band
  • Best Album for ’48:13′
  • Best Quote: “Five records, 10 years, we’ve earned our shot” – lead guitarist Sergio Pizzorno on the band’s headline slot at Glastonbury Festival last year

Jamie T was awarded:

  • Best Song for ‘Zombie’
  • Best Video for ‘Zombie’
  • Music Moment of the Year for his comeback after five years

NME awards all

Following their extensive UK tour late last year, including five sold out nights at London’s Brixton Academy, Kasabian will be hitting the festival circuit this summer, including appearances at Belgium’s Rock Werchter and Spain’s Low Festival. See all tour dates here.
