Jordan Mackampa announces May-June UK headline tour 2017

Singer-songwriter Jordan Mackampa announces a 17-date UK headline tour in May and June 2017.

The dates commence on May 14th in Cardiff and finish on June 3rd in Northampton, and include London’s St Pancras Old Church on May 17th, plus an appearance at Brighton’s The Great Escape Festival on May 18th.

Previous to the UK headline tour, Jordan will be supporting Rhiannon Giddens on her March and April EU/UK tour, plus he will make festival appearances at Derby’s 2Q and Live At Leeds. Tickets for all shows are on sale now and information can be found here.

Jordan is often described as a troubadour, an artist with timeless soul and lyrics drenched in heart felt empathy. As a man who was born in Kinshasa, grew up in London and became an artist in Coventry, Jordan’s music is swimming in the sounds and stories of the cities he’s inhabited over the years.

His critically acclaimed debut EP “Physics” was celebrated by the likes of NME, The 405 and Clash Magazine for its unique combination of jazz soaked beats, folk melodies and effortless gospel harmonies as well as his poet like lyricism exploring love, longing and loss
