Jamie T announces new album ‘Trick’ and UK/IE Tour

One of the most distinctive voices in British music, Jamie T releases his hugely anticipated fourth album ‘Trick’ on September 2nd, and announces autumn UK and Irish tour to coincide with the release. The tour includes three consecutive nights in London on the 8th, 9th and 10th of October.

Trick arrives after a gap of less than two years and is spearheaded by lead single ‘Tinfoil Boy,  which was Annie Mac’s Hottest Record on BBCR1.

October tour

Recorded in London and Detroit, Michigan, Trick features co-production and all instruments played by Jamie and long-time creative partner James Dring and is the kind of brave and eclectic rock/punk/reggae/rap/pop celebration that only Jamie T could make. Inspired by claustrophobic London summers, the album is a summing-up of all Jamie’s unique signatures – Clash-like anthems, youthful reminiscence, high-speed raps, earworm choruses and snarky humour.  It follows the triumphant success of 2014’s comeback album Carry On The Grudge.

To support the release, the five-time NME Award winner and Mercury nominee will embark on an eighteen date UK and IE nationwide tour including a three night hometown residency at London’s Brixton Academy. Find all dates here.

Tickets go on General Sale Friday 22nd July at 9am here.
