James Blake nominated for Music Producers Guild Award 2017

The Music Producers Guild today (16 November 2016) announced its 2017 awards shortlist, which includes James Blake, nominated in the newly introduced ‘Self-Producing Artist of The Year‘ category.

The MPG was conceived and is supported by producers and engineers who are passionate about all aspects of making and recording music. The achievements of this creative community are celebrated through the annual MPG Awards event.


The prestigious annual event takes place at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel on February 16th 2017 and will be presented by Absolute Radio DJ Christian O’Connell.

Now in its ninth year, the Music Producers Guild Awards will feature 16 awards categories, recognising the best and brightest names in music production. Previous award winners have included Sir George Martin CBE, YouthBrian EnoTrevor Horn and Dave Stewart.
