Bob Dylan makes rare TV appearance

In a rare television appearance, Bob Dylan performed on US talk show Late Show with David Letterman, for the first time in 22 years as the show’s final musical guest.

Watch him play ‘The Night We Called It a Day’ here, from his his recent UK No.1 album of Frank Sinatra covers ‘Shadows In The Night’. Speaking to the crowd, Letterman revealed he told his son that there were two truths in life: always be nice to people, and that Bob Dylan was the greatest songwriter of modern times.
