Adele to headline Glastonbury Festival

Adele will make her first-ever festival headlining appearance at the world’s largest festival, Glastonbury. She appears on the Pyramid Stage on Saturday June 25th.

She told the crowd at her gig at London’s O2 Arena on Friday night, part of her eight night residency at the venue, that she was the third and final festival headliner.

Adele told the audience: “I wanted to do it last year but my record wasn’t ready. And to the people who say I’m too boring to headline, you’re more fucking boring for moaning about me headlining”.

The world’s largest festival takes place in Pilton, UK from June 22nd – June 26th; she joins previously announced Friday and Sunday headliners Coldplay and Muse.

Currently on tour in the UK, the singer who recently scooped four Brit Awards, culminates her sold-out UK and European tour with the Glastonbury performance before heading to the States for an extensive tour.
