Saturday headliners, Scottish trio Biffy Clyro had an incredible 2016. Their seventh album Ellipsis went to Number 1 in the UK, Germany, Ireland and Switzerland; they headlined Reading & Leeds, sold out Glasgow’s Bellahouston Park; they played arena tours in the UK and Europe and won Best British Group at the NME Awards. The band are currently on tour in the States.
Sunday headliners Aerosmith return to Download after a three year absence. Considered America’s greatest Rock ‘N’ Roll band, they return across the Atlantic with one of the greatest rock shows ever seen and will undoubtedly be the ultimate must-see event of 2017. Download is part of their “Aero-Vederci Baby” farewell tour and will be Aerosmith’s final ever UK show!

Prophets Of Rage, formed by Tom Morello, Brad Wilk, and Tim Commerford of Rage Against the Machine, Chuck D and DJ Lord of Public Enemy and B Real of Cypress Hill, are set to headline London’s O2 Academy Brixton on Tuesday 13th June 2017, just days after their appearance on the main stage of this year’s Download Festival.
Prophets Of Rage are a revolutionary force to be reckoned with. Armed with some of the most vital songs of the past thirty-five years amongst their respective careers, this show is certain to make Brixton rage again.

For I Romanticise, the follow-up to 2015’s In The Pink Of Condition, Evans journeyed to Los Angeles to work with long-term collaborator Cate le Bon, who’s based there now. She forms part of the band who perform on the new album’s 12 tracks, along with Warpaint‘s Stella Mozgawa and composer Josiah Steinbrick. It’s co-produced by Samur Khouja.

Ben Harper returns to Europe for solo festival and headline shows this summer including Belgium’s Lokerse Feesten August 8th, Spain’s Cap Roig and Starlite Festivals on the 14th and 16th of August respectively.
The American singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and three-times Grammy Award winner will also play two headline shows in Brescia, Italy on the 10th and 11th of August. All dates and ticket info here.

Kasabian have announced their sixth studio album, For Crying Out Loud, released April 28th 2017 on Columbia Records. In support of the album, the band have also announced an eight-date intimate tour in the UK & Ireland from the 12th-22nd of April. The tour includes three consecutive nights at London’s O2 Kentish Town Forum.
The Leicester band will call in at Llandudno, Birmingham, Newport, Southend and London, finishing up in Dublin.
