The 11th edition of Europe’s leading urban festival for new music take place from the 18th – 20th May, with ITB artists plus over a hundred others artists performing at venues across the city. Find the full line-up here.

Prophets of Rage announce debut headline London show

Prophets Of Rage, formed by Tom Morello, Brad Wilk, and Tim Commerford of Rage Against the Machine, Chuck D and DJ Lord of Public Enemy and B Real of Cypress Hill, are set to headline London’s O2 Academy Brixton on Tuesday 13th June 2017, just days after their appearance on the main stage of this year’s Download Festival.

Prophets Of Rage are a revolutionary force to be reckoned with. Armed with some of the most vital songs of the past thirty-five years amongst their respective careers, this show is certain to make Brixton rage again.

The band is touring across Europe, Mexico, and South American in 2017, and will be playing London for the first time in June. All dates and info here. London tickets are on-sale from 9am on Friday 31st March via www.livenation.co.uk.

H. Hawkline announces new album and June 2017 tour

H. Hawkline, aka Huw Evans, releases new album I Romanticize on Heavenly Recordings on 2 June.

In May he’ll appear at Brighton’s The Great Escape festival, followed by June-July European and UK dates as special guest of  Devendra Banhart, plus appearances at summer festivals including Deer Shed, Port Eliot and End of the Road.

For I Romanticise, the follow-up to 2015’s In The Pink Of Condition, Evans journeyed to Los Angeles to work with long-term collaborator Cate le Bon, who’s based there now. She forms part of the band who perform on the new album’s 12 tracks, along with Warpaint‘s Stella Mozgawa and composer Josiah Steinbrick. It’s co-produced by Samur Khouja.

He’s already shared ‘Last Thing On Your Mind’ from the album, but now comes new track ‘My Mine’. Listen to it here.

The British Sound Project announces Lonely The Brave and Fatherson on their event on Friday September 29th 2017.

Manchester’s biggest indoor festival celebrating the best in British music takes place at the Victoria Warehouse, an incredible and unique event space built in the 1900s.

Sweet Baboo announces June 2017 tour and new album

Sweet Baboo, aka. North Wales’ musician, Stephen Black, announces new album Wild Imagination, out 2nd June on Moshi Moshi.

To coincide with the release, Black will head out on a six-date UK tour from the 13th-18th of June, calling in at Ramsgate, Brighton, London, Cardiff, Bristol and Manchester.

Ben Harper announces summer European solo tour dates 2017

Ben Harper returns to Europe for solo festival and headline shows this summer including Belgium’s Lokerse Feesten August 8th, Spain’s Cap Roig and Starlite Festivals on the 14th and 16th of August respectively.

The American singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and three-times Grammy Award winner will also play two headline shows in Brescia, Italy on the 10th and 11th of August. All dates and ticket info here.

Kasabian announce new album and April UK/IE tour 2017

Kasabian have announced their sixth studio album, For Crying Out Loud, released April 28th 2017 on Columbia Records. In support of the album, the band have also announced an eight-date intimate tour in the UK & Ireland from the 12th-22nd of April. The tour includes three consecutive nights at London’s O2 Kentish Town Forum.

The Leicester band will call in at Llandudno, Birmingham, Newport, Southend and London, finishing up in Dublin.

Summer festival shows include headline appearances at Spain’s Benicassim, plus the UK’s Reading/Leeds and Glasgow’s brand new TRNSMT Festival.

Weezer announce European and UK tour dates 2017

Weezer have announced an autumn 2017 European and UK tour and share new single, ‘Feels Like Summer‘, taken from their forthcoming album, due out later this year.

Kicking off in Berlin on October 15th, the tour includes stops in Cologne, Brussels, Paris and Amsterdam before heading to the UK for five shows. The multi-million selling Los Angeles rock veterans will play dates in Leeds, Glasgow, Manchester and Birmingham, before finishing up with a huge arena show at London’s Wembley SSE Arena on October 28.

Tickets for the UK dates will go on general sale at 9am on March 24 here. Head here for more details on the European shows. This weekend the band play two shows at SXSW Festival in Austin, Texas.
