The Who to premiere a new presentation of ‘Tommy’ and reschedule UK dates to 2017

To celebrate the 100th show performed  for Teenage Cancer Trust at the Royal Albert Hall, The Who will play two shows featuring new acoustic presentations of Pete Townshend’s classic Rock Opera ‘TOMMY’.

The shows will take place at the iconic London venue on Thursday March 30th and Saturday April 1st, 2017 where the band will play the opera in full – for the first time in almost 30 years.

Adele nominated for eight MTV VMA awards 2016

Congrats to Adele who received eight MTV Video Music Awards (VMA) nominations, seven of which are for the Hello video, while the other one is for Send My Love (To Your New Lover)

Kvelertak announce winter EU and UK tour

Norwegian Black ‘n’ Roll band Kvelertak (“Chokehold) announce a 24-date European and UK headline tour in November-December 2016.

The sextet’s UK dates include Manchester, Sheffield, Glasgow and London’s Electric Ballroom in Camden and follows their appearance at Reading and Leeds Festival  this month.

Ward Thomas announce new album “Cartwheels”

British country sister duo Ward Thomas announce the release of their 2nd album Cartwheels, out on Sony Music on September 2nd, 2016.

Talking about the record, Lizzy, one of the two band members, said “It established our new sound. Lyrically, it was much more grown-up than anything on our debut. Sonically, it was a move away from country to lots of other influences we grew up with – Fleetwood Mac, The Beatles, KT Tunstall, Taylor Swift’s Red album. We’re still influenced by country, we still adore the Dixie Chicks and Kacey Musgraves, but this isn’t just a country album.” You can purchase the album here.



Korn announce new album, ‘The Serenity of Suffering’

Korn will release their 12th studio album ‘The Serenity of Suffering’ on October 21 through Roadrunner Records.

They’ve debuted a video for Rotting In Vain, starring Sons of Anarchy actor Tommy Flanagan, the first track to appear from the follow-up to 2013’s ‘The Paradigm Shift’.

The album artwork is by American contemporary artist Ron English, known as ‘The Godfather of Street Art’.

Nick Raskulinecz (Foo Fighters, Deftones) produced the release, which also features an appearance by Slipknot’s Corey Taylor.



Biffy Clyro land Number One album for ‘Ellipsis’

Biffy Clyro earned their second UK Number 1 with their seventh album, ‘Ellipsis’.

Jamie T announces new album ‘Trick’ and UK/IE Tour

One of the most distinctive voices in British music, Jamie T releases his hugely anticipated fourth album ‘Trick’ on September 2nd, and announces autumn UK and Irish tour to coincide with the release. The tour includes three consecutive nights in London on the 8th, 9th and 10th of October.

Trick arrives after a gap of less than two years and is spearheaded by lead single ‘Tinfoil Boy,  which was Annie Mac’s Hottest Record on BBCR1.

The Answer announce co-headline UK and EU tour with The Dead Daisies

Northern Irish rock outfit The Answer announce a co-headline UK and EU tour with The Dead Daisies this November & December.

Currently on the road marking the 10th anniversary of their debut album Rise, the band’s dates include headlines, supports with ITB’s Whitesnake, plus festival appearances including the UK’s Ramblin’ Man Fair on July 24. Find all dates here.

Guns ‘N’ Roses announce Latin American dates 2016

Guns N’ Roses are headed to Latin America this autumn as part of their ‘Not In This Lifetime’ Tour. The dates start in Lima, Peru on October 27th and include Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Columbia and Costa Rica.



Blink-182 score first UK Number 1 album

Congratulations to Blink-182 who landed their first UK Number 1 album this week with ‘California’ on Viking Wizard Eyes, via BMG Records.

californiablinkThe pop-punk trio’s 7th studio album is the band’s first in five years and the first to feature vocalist Matt Skiba. Their previous peak on the UK chart was at number four, with 2001’s ‘Take Off Your Pants And Jacket’.


Watch the band celebrate the news via “We’re so excited and thankful to be Number One in the UK. This is the first time we have ever got a Number 1, and we are super thankful to all of you for supporting us.”

‘California’ also topped the chart in the States, ending Drake’s nine-week reign on the top spot with his album ‘Views’. ‘California’ is the band’s second U.S. Number One album.
