Neil Young to release new solo album ‘Earth’

Rock legend Neil Young will release his 37th solo album Earth on the 17th June 2016.

This is his second album with the band Promise of the Real, after last year’s The Monsanto Years.

The album is a tribute from Neil Young to the earth and its creatures. Tracks on Earth feature nature-inspired sounds, including birds, crickets, bees, as well as city noises, such as car horns. Young describes the album as follows: “Earth flows as a collection of 13 songs from throughout my life, songs I have written about living here on our planet together.”
