Kula Shaker announce a major UK tour in December 2016 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their million-selling debut album, K. They will play the album in its entirety for the first time.

Glastonbury announces final lineup 2016

Glastonbury Festival has announce its final lineup which features Bear’s Den, Editors, Formation, Gillbanks, Gwenno, Jagwar Ma, MabelMan & The Echo,  Night Beats, The Temperance Movement, The View, Vangoffey and Ward Thomas.

They join previously announced ITB artists Adele (Pyramid Stage headliner), Ben Miller Band, James Blake, LåpsleySísý Ey and ZZ Top.

The legendary festival is completely sold out and takes place from the 22nd – 26th of June 2016, on Worthy Farm, Pilton, Somerset.

Adele wins third Ivor Novello Award 2016

Congratulations to Adele who was named Songwriter of the Year at the prestigious Ivor Novello Awards last night (19th of May) in central London. Now in its 61st year, the Ivors honour excellence in British songwriting.

Adele was honoured for her multi-million selling third album, 25, which was released late last year. This is her third Ivor Novello award; in 2012 she won awards for Music Most Performed Work for ‘Rolling In The Deep’, and also Songwriter of the Year.



Paul Simon announces UK and European tour 2016

Paul Simon is to tour the UK in November, his first UK shows since Hyde Park in 2012. Starting in Bournemouth on November 3rd, Simon will perform two nights at London’s prestigious Royal Albert Hall as well as playing shows Cardiff and Manchester, finishing in Nottingham on November 12th.

Prior to the UK dates, Simon heads to mainland Europe in October, visiting Sweden, Norway and Belgium.



Beverley Knight announces new album ‘Soulsville’

British soul singer and West End star Beverley Knight will release her 8th studio album, Soulsville, on June 10th 2016.

Soulsville was recorded in a week long session at Royal Studios in Memphis and features a collection of original songs plus a handful of Memphis classics.



Richard Ashcroft releases new album, “These People” today

Former The Verve frontman, Richard Ashcroft releases his fifth solo album These People today.

The album sees Richard working again with Urban Hymns strings arranger Wil Malone, and has a sound the singer described to The Guardian as “ancient and modern” at the same time.

Cambridge five-piece rockers Lonely The Brave release second album Things Will Matter today.

Things Will Matter, recorded with producer Ross Orton (who has previously worked with the likes of Arctic Monkeys and Dredge) has received some stunning reviews: Q Magazine  4/5 “a remarkable second album”. Rockbound 8/10 “Lonely The Brave have gone and pulled another rabbit from the hat.”



Kvelertak release new album ‘Nattesdferd’ today

Norwegian metal sextet Kvelertak release their third album, Nattesferd, today on Roadrunner Records.

Frontman Erlend Hjelvik, talking to Metal Hammer, describes this album, the first one recorded in their native country of Norway, as their best one yet. He adds that it is “An exquisite smorgasbord of riffs infused with everything between the best of classic rock and heavy metal. I’m certain it will blow the minds of both old and new fans”.
