James Simmons nominated for Tomorrow’s New Boss award 2014

Congratulations to ITB’s James Simmons, assistant to Lucy Dickins and junior booker, who has been nominated in iQ Magazine’s ‘Tomorrow’s New Boss’ award.

James started as an intern at ITB in 2009 before joining senior agent Lucy Dickins‘ team six months later. James is currently assisting Lucy on her artist’s tours as well as building his own roster.

He is featured in this month’s iQ magazine spotlighting future live music industry leaders.

Now in it’s seventh year, the ‘Tomorrow’s New Boss’ award will be presented to one of the ten nominees, all aged 30 or under, at the International Live Music Conference’s  (ILMC27) Arthur Awards ceremony in London next March 2015.

ILMC members will be able to cast their vote later this year via the ILMC website.

Congrats to Robert Plant and the Sensational Space Shifters, whose album  ‘Lullaby and… the Ceaseless Roar’ entered the UK charts this week at No. 2.

ITB scores three Top 20 UK album chart entries

Kasabian nominated for four Q Awards 2014

Q Magazine revealed the nominees for their prestigious 2014 Q Awards.

Kasabian, who headlined Glastonbury in June, are nominated in four categories: Best Live Act, Best Act in The World, Best Track for “Eez-eh” and Best Album for “48:13”.
